Sea shells poem

WALT: write a personification poem

Sea shells:

The sound rattled like dry peas in a can.
The sea tossed the shells again and again.
The silence followed it, it was like holding your breath.
Then rolling and tumbling like children in bed.
Looking like sweets in a sweet shop jar.
The colour and shapes made the shore line look bizarre.

Like carnival day the shells twisted and turned as the sea played them like some crazy dance.

I find you poem very interesting. I did a personification poem about the beach too, but I found it difficult. Was it difficult for you?
