WALHT: use the order of operations - BEDMAS to solve problems.

I needed to play this activity to practice with my times tables. I found the first five answers really easy because I got it right and because I followed the order of operations. But the rest was hard because I kept on getting it wrong because of my times tables. Next time I will still like to learn more about BEDMAS so that I know what it is.

Camp at Shakespeare:

WALT: Write a narrative:

Camp at Shakespeare:

One sunny morning Toli and her family went for a camp at shakespeare beach. She was very excited to go because she always loved the water, it had a beautiful colour of navy blue.

Once it started to get dark everyone was tired so they set up their tents and sleeping bags and fell off to sleep. Toli was the only one awake so she decided to go for a long walk on the sand. She squished her feet into the sand because that was one of the things she always loved to do.

A couple of minutes later she shook her shoes off her feet and started walking towards the water. Suddenly a huge wave pushed Toli down and she started to drown. She yelled help several times but no one could hear her. She then tried to swim but she couldńt. Toli thought that her life was ending. She didn't know what to do.

She thought to herself no matter what she does she will never be heard or seen. So as she was gonna let her life end she heard a boat coming close to her, so she yelled for help and the people heard her so they rescued her and took her to her family and she was safe.

In the morning Toli and her family had an wonderful breakfast they talked and talked until they felt like not talking anymore. After three hours they had a little picnic and then drove home safely.

In my pattern I had two sticks that were straight two sticks that were facing side ways and two sticks that were diagonal it was fun creating patterns with sticks. It was really easy because all I had to do was continue someone else pattern. We Also have been learning about patterns this whole week we even did patterns with art.

Fazed by a maze

(Mazes are puzzles that have been made for thousands of years).

Some mazes are made from living hedges and some from turf, stones and tiles. Big mazes are types that you can actually walk through. There is a famous maze of living hedge and at Hampton Court in England.

When entering a maze like this, place your hand on one wall and do not remove you hand so you can arrive at the centre. Some mazes are very difficult you can get easily lost.

In finland and sweden, mazes were once used in a unusual game. A young women would stand in the centre of a big maze. If a young man could find her he could carry her out and claim her as his girlfriend. Small mazes have been used as patterns on walls dishes and monuments.

Mazes are basically found in Europe and are usually found in very old large gardens of kings. To see mazes you have to look at them from a very high place. Today very few mazes are been created.

Allergie Poem:

Allergie Poem:

When you sneeze.

You start to wheeze.

Your nose turns red and get itchy.

Children get allergic reactions.

Which makes a huge distraction.

It makes parents worry

And they feel very sorry.
