WALT: write a personification poem
Sea shells:
The sound rattled like dry peas in a can.
The sea tossed the shells again and again.
The silence followed it, it was like holding your breath.
Then rolling and tumbling like children in bed.
Looking like sweets in a sweet shop jar.
The colour and shapes made the shore line look bizarre.
Like carnival day the shells twisted and turned as the sea played them like some crazy dance.

ReplyDeleteI find you poem very interesting. I did a personification poem about the beach too, but I found it difficult. Was it difficult for you?
